About the Program

Cord Two is a three month program requiring participants live at the ranch, living in the bunkhouses with other program participants, then possibly moving to tiny homes. Cord Two allows participants more time to get back to the basics of living with themselves and others, really focusing on discovering the root of life's difficulities and working with TriCord staff, associated professionals, and volunteers to process issues as they arise through ranch life. Participants will be expected to participate in a variety of roles on the ranch to meet the needs of everyone living and working at TriCord Ranch. This will incorporate taking care of animals, tending to fruit and vegetables produced on-site, regular cleaning and maintenance of ranch buildings and grounds, assisting in kitchen duties, and shifts in the ranch store and farmer’s market. Attendees will also participate in daily physical and mental training, wilderness survival, basic first aid and CPR, basic financial skills, volunteer for weekly community improvement projects, and leadership training. They will be given leadership positions and privileges such as phone, computer lab, movie nights, visitation, and weekend passes; all depending on program progress and participation. They will have access to extensive financial planning resources, resume building, and employment coaching.

*Deposit will be refunded at program completion.
